Rosa Esther Glass, age 82 of Canyon Lake, California passed away at home with her family and pets on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. She was born Monday, March 25, 1929 in Lima, Peru; the daughter of the late Roldofo and Rosa Medrano Arenas.
Rosa was an active senior citizen. She loved travel, sewing, cooking, crafting and has an extensive doll collection. She retired this year after 22 years as a Paraeducator in the Lake Elsinore School District where she worked with the special education students at Terra Cotta Middle School. She was an active member of the Elks, where she helped with the food program for military families and enjoyed the dancing activities; she is one of the Red Hat Ladies; and a member of the Canyon Lake Bunko Club.
She will be remembered as a loving person who was a "Mom" to all of her friends.
Rosa is survived by 3 sons, Richard Barrantes, Marcos Stead and Henry Barrantes; daughter, Roxanna Stead and 4 grand children.
