

Rosalee was born June 30, 1932 in San Pedro, California to Clifford and Lillian Cathey. She had five siblings and was preceded in death by her three brothers Clifford Jr., August and Joe. She is survived by her sister Lillian and brother Walter.
Rosalee grew up in San Pedro, California and attended San Pedro High School where she met her high school sweetheart Gregory "Tony" Ramos. Rosalee and Tony were married for 57 years before he preceded her in death in 2007.
Rosalee is survived by her eight children; Gregory, Deborah, Anthony, Rosalind, Renee', Andre', Stephanie and Joseph. She also leaves 22 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
In 1969, Rosalee was diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant with her son Joseph. Due to the pregnancy she was unable to receive chemotherapy treatments, but against all odds and with the blessings of God, Rosalee was able to battle through and beat the cancer.
Rosalee's career in life was raising her children and spending quality time with her husband Tony. She was always involved in the kids PTA and recreational activities. After all the children had graduated and were on their own, she decided to volunteer her time and give back to her community. Rosalee began volunteering for the Jurupa Senior Citizen Center who later hired and promoted her to the Director of the Center.
Rosalee loved drinking tea and her children knew it. They bought her many tea pots and a variety of wonderful tasting teas. On one special occasion, she gave a tea party at her home that was enjoyed by all the family and friends who attended.
Rosalee loved her hobbies; sewing, crocheting, keeping her roses pruned, camping and having family gatherings.
Rosalee loved life. She loved her husband Tony with all her heart and her children meant the world to her. Rosalee's wonderful laugh, warm smile, great hugs and love will be greatly missed by all she touched, especially her children.
