

Rosemarie Margaret (Ludowese) ElRite “Rosi” passed away on February 3, 2021. She was the daughter of Louis and Marcella (Wilette) Ludowese born June 4, 1940 in Graceville, MN. She graduated valedictorian of her class of Graceville High School in 1958 and began her nursing education at St. Francis School of Nursing in Breckenridge, MN. She was united in marriage to Richard E. ElRite “Coach” December 29, 1958,
Rosemarie completed her diploma in Nursing in 1973 from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing and completing her BSN from NMU in 1987. She worked in the Family Practice of Dr. James Brodeur which she truly enjoyed until her retirement in 1991 and moving to So. CA. where she resided in Menifee California, a resident of the Sun City Senior Living Community (The Core) for over 20 years holding various positions including president of the Sun City Civic Association, which she was very proud of. Coach and Rose both enjoyed retirement and were avid shuffleboard players traveling to destinations around the world representing the United States Shuffleboard Association.
She is survived by her children; Kelly (John) Fox and grandchildren Michael and Justin Fox; Mark and grandchildren Jeremy, Matthew and Emily ElRite; Melissa “Missy” (Larry) and grandchildren Kate, Adam and John Skendzel; and Jason (Kim) and grandchildren Jackson and Daniel ElRite. Also survived by her brother James (Pat) Ludowese. She was preceded in death by her loving spouse “Coach” in 2019, her youngest son, Justin in 2017; her parents and brother, Robert.
The family would like to give special thanks to Salus Hospice and Excel Assisted Living of Murrieta CA who provided exceptional care.
Per her wishes there will be no services, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Animals Friends of the Valleys or to your local Humane Society.
Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to Miller-Jones Mortuary
