Over forty years ago at the ripe young age of 18, I became the Animal Control Officer at the Hemet Police Department.  Roy was my supervisor.  He always treated me fairly and gave me a great deal of friendly guidance along the way.  We even took classes at Mt. San Jacinto Community College together!  After class, there was always a cold Budweiser available at Roy's house.  I also got to know his wife Pat and her son Tusk.  I later moved on to full-time college at UCR and then employment with the Federal government.  I regret that I lost touch with Roy over the years and was saddened to hear of his passing.  I send my sincere condolences to his many friends and family and wish them all of God's strength and guidance during this difficult time.
