Born Friday, March 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Milton Hawley and the late Mildred Hawley. She was 1 of 6 children.
Ruby was a caring and giving person who loved taking care of people. She spent many years as a foster parent and a caregiver in Hemet doing what she could to help others until about a week before she became ill.
She was also very involved with the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hemet where she volunteered as a greeter every Saturday.
Surviving are daughters, Lavon Lehmann, Lynoure Won and Ranae Buckendahl, brother, Loren Hawley; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was predeceased by husband, Donald Ernst and daughter, Linda Williams and granddaughter Trisha Williams
Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery with her husband, Donald.
