Russell E. Wilson

Russell E. Wilson, 90, of Hemet, CA passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at his home in Hemet, CA. Born Sunday, October 29, 1922 in Little Rock, AR; he was the only child of the late Donna Peacock. He spent most of his youth in Springfield, Missouri until moving to Los Angeles in 1953. There he met the love of his life and his wife of nearly 55 years. Together they raised their only daughter in Huntington Beach until moving to Hemet in 1999.

He was a gentle, kind and patient man. Well-read, knowledgeable, and intelligent he could speak on any subject. He loved American History and was an avid reader of non-fiction books. He enjoyed a good political debate and he wasn't shy to express his opinions as a staunch Democrat. He loved his family, his country, and animals. His pets were family to him.

Russell is survived by his loving wife, Ann Wilson; daughter, Deborah Wilson; granddaughters, Annie and Margo Wilson; several cats and dogs but most noteworthy his cat, Cassie; and his dog, Justin.
