Born July 29, 1960 in Napa, California to Gerald and Donna Koehler, Rusty was the eldest of four children.
A man of infinite knowledge, Rusty wore many hats in life; Navy Veteran, craftsman, mechanic, carpenter, electrician, and all around man of many talents. He would gladly share his knowledge with any that desired to learn or needed his assistance, making him the outstanding Project Manager for Berg Electric that he was.
An avid fisherman, Rusty also enjoyed cribbage, woodworking, repairing cars, Halloween, being a pirate and drinking Jameson. Rusty was wonderfully quick witted and always fast with a joke and a smile, combined with his intellect and easy going attitude it was nearly impossible to not want to get to know him. He will be missed immensely by so many.
Rusty is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 26 years, Kelly, his four children; Heather, Jeffrey, Melissa, and Catherine, brother Timothy and his wife Deidre, stepfather Dennis, sister-in-law Lisa, six nieces and nephews and five grandchildren. He was also survived for 16 hours by his little sister Kimberly who tragically died of an apparent broken heart.
