Ruth Teresa Acosta

Ruth Teresa Acosta, 93, of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Hemet Global Medical Center. Ruth was born on May 6, 1927, in Hancock, Texas to the late Encarnacion and Mary Holguin.

Ruth enjoyed a full life living for the Lord. In her lifetime she was blessed with a loving husband and children. There was always a cup of coffee ready for her friends in her home. She was an ordained minister and held bible studies in her home. She loved to talk to anyone about Jesus.

Ruth enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and visited many National Parks in the Western United States with her family. Ruth collected Native American dolls and loved any movies that had horses in it. She loved hearing stories of God’s workings in peoples lives. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren so much. Ruth will be missed by all that knew her and loved her.

Ruth is one of ten siblings and is survived by her three children, Jacqueline Donnelly, Cathryn Compton, and Mark Acosta and her 5 grandchildren, Sara Sweetman, Nicholas Donnelly, Samuel Donnelly, Danielle LeGaspi, and Sonny LeGaspi and her 4 great-grandchildren, Ava Sweetman, Delaney Sweetman, Kaylin Sweetman, and Joshua Sweetman. Ruth has 3 surviving brothers, Raymond, Ramon, and Richard Holguin.
