Ruth Helen Allen, 86 of Hemet, California died on Thursday, December 20, 2012. Born Friday, January 22, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan. Surviving are daughters, Leslie Whaling(Art) of Lemon Grove, CA. and Patty Westman(Paul) of Arcadia,Ca She had 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Ruth was devoted to her family. She was a hat lady. Ruth wore hats all the time, this was her Icon. Her family and friends would say she had a gentle demeanor, was very dependable and had a deep faith in the Lord. Ruth loved baseball and was a devoted Dodgers fan. She had many hobbies including counted cross stitch, playing the organ, oil painting, knitting and was a great cook.
