Sharon Marie Jones

At the age of 70, Sharon Marie Jones, of Sun City, California passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014. She passed away at her residence with family by her side. She joins her parents Warren and Thelma Jones and sister Pamela Tye in heaven.

Sherry, as many know her by, was born Friday, January 7, 1944 in Hawthorn, California. She was the oldest of three in which made her a born leader. She loved the Lord and was always sharing the phrase "Praise the Lord!" She was a gentle, caring, and loving woman of faith. Her tender heartiness showed as she wept easily, whether happy or sad.

Sharon's love for life brought her hobbies such as sewing, crocheting, camping, road trips, and hours of crossword puzzle work. Pastels made up her favorite colors and she liked any types of flowers except gardenias, in which she was allergic to, She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are daughters, Shay Gomez of Sun City, CA and Shannon Crawford of Sacramento,CA; Sister Roberta Washburn of Lake Elsinore, CA; 5 Grandchildren: Nicky Thompson, Justin Ochoa, Joey Ochoa, Ryan Gomez, and Christopher Gomez; and 2 Great Grandchildren: Justin Ochoa, Jr. and Tristan Thompson.
