Sheryl Lynn Dade-Maiden

As a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and loving friend she was always willing to help and give, to anyone who was in need. She easily made friends and shared her love with everyone. She received her First Communion at St. Bridget's Catholic Church and later in life joined a Baptist church where she confessed her sins and gave her life to Jesus.

Sheryl love and affection for others was so evident that she literally became another child to our childhood neighbors, the Washington's, whom she also called Mother and Father; and they called her their daughter.

She worked for a short time at a school cafeteria, but soon found her calling "doing hair". She loved it!! She would buy all the latest styling tools and shampoos and conditioners so that her clients would have the best.

Sheryl loved kids! She always wanted to have a large family and she got her wish. In 1984, she met the love of her life and was joined in marriage to Alton and to that union came three children (her beautiful daughter, Brittany proceeded her in death). They lived in Los Angeles for many years and then in 1996 to further fulfill her dreams with her family they relocated to Perris, California.

Christmas was her favorite holiday. She would decorate the entire house from top to bottom with anything she could find and made sure the tree was overflowing with gifts for everyone.

Sheryl fought a courageous battle and mourned for her daughter. On July 1, 2016 she was visited by an Angel and slipped quietly away to a permanent peaceful place. Mother and daughter are together now. Sheryl is at peace.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Brittney Maiden, parents Charles (Bobby) Dade and Annie (B) Dade and Step-Grandson ; D'Juan Pratt .

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Alton Maiden, two sons: Stefan and Kory Maiden of Perris, CA, two sisters: Gwen (Sam) Mitchell of Midwest City, OK, Vivian Sarpong of Atlanta, GA; three brothers: Charles Robert Dade, Jr. of San Bernardino, CA, Anthony Dade of Inglewood, CA and Harold (Josette) Dade of Lakewood, CA; one aunt Ophelia Phillips of Moreno Valley, CA; Step-Daughters; Gwendolyn Maiden of Lancaster, CA., Norma Maiden of Anaheim, Ca. - Aldrina Maiden of Centreville, VA. Step-Son; Erik Maiden of Sacramento, CA. Step-Grandchildren; Koshenique , Paul Boyd Sr., Jaime Battee, Jonathan Harris III, Jarrod Harris, Jillian Rochelle Maiden-Mays, Anthony Wallace, Tai Wallace, Alonzo Pierre Richardson, Francesca Maiden, Step-Great Grandchildren; Paul Boyd Jr., Kya Princess Boyd, Alexis Pratt, D'Liah Pratt, Jalayah Harris, Brooklyn Harris- Step-Daughter-in-law: Lilibeth Maiden, Step-Son-in-law; Alvin Richardson, a niece, nephews, relatives and friends.
