Born Monday, October 14, 1935, in Riverrouge, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late George Schwartz and the late Grace Schwartz Riddle
She was employed by State of California and worked at a correctional institution for over 25 years.
Shirley was best known by her family as a strong woman with an enormous giving heart. She enjoyed computer games, reading, cooking, outings, and family picnics.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 37 years, Harold Little, sons, Steven Hastings (Colleen), Lawrence Hastings (Lulu), Leon Hastings (Mary), Gregory Hastings (Kimberly), Dennis Hastings (Paula), Daniel Hastings (Julie), Kevin Hastings (Sherry), Bradley Little, daughter, Karen Berger (Michael), and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary located at 1501 W Florida Ave Hemet, California 92544.
