She was born on Monday, June 4, 1928 in Galesburg, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Russell Babbitt and the late Bessie Meyers Babbitt.
She was a member of Sun City United Methodist Church.
Surviving are sons, Scott Smith and James Smith, daughter, Sherri Eaton of Dana Point, CA.
A Graveside service will be at 11:31 AM on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, California 92518.
