Born Tuesday, August 23, 1955 in East Los Angeles, California, he was the son of Silverio Zamora II and Maria Robles. He was the beloved husband of Anna Lugo Zamora for 40 years.
Silver graduated from El Rancho High School (Pico Rivera, CA) and then was proud to have served in the Marine Corps; he was a Marine for life. Most recently he worked for the U.S. Postal Service.
He was very active and involved in raising his family with Anna. He had a voice like Frank Sinatra and loved to karaoke with family and friends. Silver loved to BBQ and host family get-togethers. He had a big heart, a humble spirit and never said "no" to anyone that was in need. To relax, Silver enjoyed watching golf on TV and never missed a re-run of "I Love Lucy". Anna, his beloved wife, called him, "Mijo" and in turn he lovingly called her "Mija." Silver will forever be deeply loved and missed by everyone he touched throughout his lifetime and all who were fortunate enough to call him family or friend.
He is survived by his wife Anna, their two children Angela & Alice, five grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters, and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, close friends, and co-workers.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and a brother.
