Summer Grace Maddox

Summer Grace Maddox, 40 of Hemet, CA passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015. She was born on Thursday, July 18, 1974 in Banning, CA, to Ed and Anita Berroteran. Summer is survived by her loving husband, Derek Maddox, four children, Chanel, Bryce, Ireland and Lola, her parents, Ed and Anita, four siblings, Stephanie Crewl, Sara Blaschek, Elias Berroteran, and Seth Berroteran, her grandmother, Ellen Dix, her mother-in-law, Lois Maddox and several nieces and nephews. Summer was preceded in death by her Uncle Kirk, and her Nana and Papa, Connie and Juaquin.

Summer was a social butterfly. She loved to be around people, but her family was her number one priority. She was a strong woman who had a heart overflowing with kindness. Summer also loved adventure. Going on trips with her family to Montana and across the country was her favorite thing to do. In her work life, Summer has been an esthetician, a social worker, and has run her own daycare.

Summer will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her love of all things yellow and sparkly. She was dearly loved by everyone who knew her, and will be deeply missed.
