Susan Renee Barager passed away at her home in Hemet, California on Thursday, October 24, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. Although she gave it every bit of fight she had, she passed away peacefully, with her family by her side.
Susan Renee Chamberlin was born in Inglewood CA, to Norman and Dixie Chamberlin on January 13, 1964. She was raised in Downey, CA until the middle of the 1970's with her parents and brothers until they moved to Anza, California. Susan attended and graduated Hemet High School in 1982.
She met her true love, Bruce and later married on March 22, 1986. They lived together in Hemet for their beautiful 33 years together where they raised their daughters, Dixie and Denise.
Susan was commonly known as; Susie, Lulu, Wifey, Mama, but she was always known to be a friend, the most giving person ever. She was always thinking and doing for others. If you ever had the pleasure to meet her then you loved her. She did not have a bad thing to say about anyone and wished them the best life had to offer. Susan would always offer advice, kind words of encouragement. Her door was always open. You never would leave her presence being sad, cold, lonely, hungry or hurt. Susan had a way about her, being one to make you feel loved, special. She was a friend and a confidante to her family and her friends.
If you were in a room full of family and friends with this woman and you asked to speak to her for advice, she would easily make you feel like it was just the two of you in the room because you are loved and needed. She had a gift of kindness, a gentle touch.
Susan had a love for everything that breathes; birds, reptiles, and a special love for dogs and cats.
Susan is survived by her husband Bruce, daughters Dixie and Denise and son in law Mike, grandson Zachary, granddaughter Mia and her brother Mark, all of Hemet and her brother John of Pekin, Illinois. She has many cousins, aunts and uncles and friends that will forever remember, love and miss her dearly.
