Terry Kent Rogers, 66 of Hemet, California passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He was born on Thursday, December 27, 1945 in Evansville, Indiana and was the husband of Karyn Rogers for 44 years. He was very active in the Elks Lodge for over 33 years in Hemet and served many positions including the District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler from 2008-2009. Terry had a strong personality that attracted people to serve. He lead by example to drive for a solution to problems in the community with determination and effort. The was never a problem to big to tackle and he was responsible helping the PAL Program, K-9 Hemet Police Program, Community College Sports Program and the Elks Lodge to name a few. Terry like to travel, sing karaoke and chocolate whoppers. His family describes him strong, passionate about his views, loving and caring. Surviving is his wife, Karyn Rogers, daughter, Danielle (Daniel) Haug ,of Hemet, CA, brothers, Donald and Wayne Rogers, sister, Norma Laubscher; and 2 grand children.
