Theresa Marie (Ramasader) Nordal passed away on Wednesday, February 11 after a lengthy illness. Born Theresia Marie Ramasader on December 11, 1932, in Linz, Austria, she grew up in the beautiful forested, foothills of the Danube River. At 15, Theresa moved to Linz, worked as seamstress and later met her future husband, Army Sargent C. Harold Nordal. They were married in 1953, moved to Harold's hometown of Hemet, taking over his parents walnut and apricot grove and eventually started Arroyo Citrus, a grapefruit grove. They raised three sons and were active members of Trinity Lutheran Church where Theresa taught nursery school. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ, her family, sewing, cooking, her immaculate home, entertaining and native Austrian music. They were married until Harold's passing in 2003. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Corey and Hilary Nordal of Simi Valley, Craig and Lori Nordal of Encinitas and Curt and Sharon Nordal of Hemet. Theresa adored her 6 grandchildren, Kelsey, Colin, Kristen, Christian, Katelyn, Karley and great grandchildren Stella Arellano and Noah McMahon.
