Thirza Lee Ortiz

Thirza Lee Ortiz, age 86, of Temecula, CA, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. Thirza was born on July 7, 1929 in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of the late Stephen Allen Millar and the late Mary Louise (Cole) Millar.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Henry; children David, Janet, and Diane: three grand children Bree, Carly and Jamie, and two great grand children Ella and Eislee.

Thirza's family was the most important thing in the world to her. She said that her life was rich, rich from the joy of having a loving family. Thirza also cherished her friends. She didn't know many strangers, because she was friendly, outgoing, and enjoyed meeting new people. She easily formed personal connections with those she met with her kind face and big smile.

Thirza will be dearly missed, but will forever live in the hearts of those that loved her.

Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory Hemet, 1501 West Florida Ave, Hemet, CA. A graveside service will be at the Riverside National Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
