

Tom was born on September 20th, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jacqueline Eleanor Woodruff. He attended Blevins High School in Blevins, Arkansas and in 1972 went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps for two years where he ranked as a Lance Corporal. After his service, Tom met the love of his life Shirley Appleton.
Tom married his wife, Shirley, on May 9th, 1975 where he began the journey to the rest of his life. Tom was a devoted husband and father to his children, Randy and Kimberly and he loved spending time with his family. He was always there to support his children in their endeavors, and he was a proud grandfather to his seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Tom was a talented guitar player, and he enjoyed playing music for his family and friends. Tom was a kind and generous man, and he always had a smile on his face. He was an entrepreneur having started a local small business with his wife they owned for a decade ( Desert Towing). He was a jokester, and he loved to make people laugh. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
