

Tommy C. Lindsey was born on Monday, July 26, 1954 in Hollandale, Mississippi to Odessa and the late Jeff Lindsey, Sr. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Surgical Technician for many years. Tommy was the oldest of seven children. He spent the early years of his life in Zion, Illinois, before the family relocated to Los Angeles, California. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in Los Angeles, California. Tommy was full of life. He loved to paint and create amazing things with his hands. His friends nicknamed him, "The Hitman", because he was always so clean in his attire, had a very strong personality and was always there if you needed him. If you had the pleasure to spend time with Tommy, you knew he was a very proud man who loved his family and friends dearly. He was the Big Brother and we knew he would always take care of us no matter what. Even in his darkest hour, he put up a good fight and never complained. On Tuesday, April 26, 2011, in Moreno Valley, California, Tommy was called home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Patrick Leon and Jeff "Bo" Lindsey. He leaves behind to mourn and cherish his memory seven children, Andre, Chanel, Chris, Krishanda, Tommy, Jr., Tomorrus and Tyeshia; his mother Odessa, stepfather Charles Bradford, five sisters, Shirley, Bernice, Ernestine, Patricia and Charlotte; one brother James Charles, thirteen grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends. Funeral services have been entrusted into the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary located at 1835 N. Perris Blvd. Perris, CA 92571, were a Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 4pm-8pm. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2011. Interment will take place on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11:30am at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
