Valentin D. Rodriguez

Architect Valentin D. Rodriguez Jr. was born in the Philippines on September 22, 1926. Val loved life and everything in it. He married the love of his life, Fleurdelis Rodriguez 60 years ago. Their marriage was blessed with 4 children, Hector Rodiguez, Rachel and spouse Larry Gonzalez, Roxannie Rodriguez-Keh, and Raymond Rodriguez. His children in turn blessed Val with beautiful and brilliant grandchildren. He also left behind surviving sister, Virginia Thater.

Val was a caring husband, a loving father and an adoring grandfather. He enjoyed life and everyone in his life. When he had some down time he spent his time watching sports on TV anything from Tennis, golf and his favorite basketball team, the Golden State Warriors. On a hot summer day Val was found watching sports and eating his favorite treat, chocolate and peanut butter ice cream. Another passion of his was to paint, he found peace of mind while creating his one of a kind art pieces. Excitement wasn't missing from Val's life either, he enjoyed the thrill of playing the slots at Pechanga Casino, Keno was his favorite slot Val passed away on January 30, 2019 in Temecula, California. He lived his life with integrity, love, respect and hard work. He leaves behind his wife and four children, his adoring grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends. In his 92 years there was a lifetime of beautiful memories shared and created. He will be greatly missed. The time shared and the memories created will always be treasured by all who were fortunate to have known Val.
