Velma May Brown, age 88, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012. Velma was born on December 28 1923 in Stockton KS to Benjamin H. Farr and Sarah E. Holcomb. Velma was a bookkeeper for more than 30 years and was a resident of the Hemet Valley for nearly 40 years.
Velma enjoyed traveling the world with her late husband Jack and always placed everyone before herself. Velma was a longstanding member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Spirit of Joy Church in Hemet.
Velma is survived by her son Donald Finch, San Jacinto CA, 4 grandchildren, Eric Jackson, Hemet CA, Jason Collins, Rocklin CA, Amanda Painter, Grass Valley CA, Kimberly Finch, Tustin CA, and 9 great-grand children. Velma was preceded in death by her husband Jack L. Brown, (May 2, 2008) and her daughter Barbara E. Watters (June 11, 2012).
