Vera Thomas

Vera Jeanne Thomas, 86 of Redlands, California passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Terra Cina Post Acute Care in Redlands, California. She was born on Wednesday, April 2, 1930 in Kokomo, Indiana, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Melverine Jennings Sanders. She was married to the love of her life, Edward George Thomas for over 30 wonderful years before he passed away in 1995. They owned a ranch called Apple Valley Riding Stables where they owned horses, cattle and pigs. Their only daughter, Bonnie Hansen-Biberston was born and grew up on the ranch. Vera retired in Hemet where she loved to play golf with the girls. She was able to reach her goal of making a " Hole in One". Vera and her friends would gather at the club house to play all sort of card games.. Her family describes her as independent, competitive, family oriented, and enjoyed her friends.

Surviving are daughter Bonnie Hansen-Biberston and her husband Bob, and grandchildren Jeni Longo and Ronnie Hansen. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
