

Born March 23, 1924 in Florence, CO; he was the son of the late Margarito and Refugia Martinez.
Victor was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps and served our country during World War II. He earned the rank of Corporal. After completion of his service, he worked for Northrup, McDonnell-Douglas, and Westinghouse. But found a lasting career with McDonnell-Douglas, a major aerospace and defense contractor, as an Inspector. He retired from McDonnell-Douglas after forty years of dedicated, quality service. In his free time, Victor loved to learn, taking many academic and technical courses. He and his late wife, Juanita, loved to travel visiting many places throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. They also enjoyed traveling to watch and participate in their grandchildren's activities. He greatly enjoyed golfing, trout fishing, and reading.
Preceded in passing by his wife, Juanita Martinez, Victor is survived by his daughters, Victoria Patricia Dale and Christine Barden; sisters, Arcie Romero and Caroline Abeyta; grandchildren, Elisa Shirai and Brian Barden; and great-grandchildren, Averie Barden, Maxton Shirai, and Jagger Barden.
