Victor Zambrano was born September 20th, 1948 in Los Angeles California, where he grew up. He joined the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam war as a flame thrower specialist in the infantry. He was sent to Vietnam and served a one year tour with the 2nd Battalion 7th regiment Marines. He was very proud of his service to his country, and spoke passionately about how proud he was to be an American, despite how he was treated as a service member during that time.
Victor Zambrano loved his family and valued the time he spent with them. He especially had a huge love for Dogs. Namely his late friend Goofy, the family cocker spaniel mix. Goofy followed him everywhere and had the nickname "chiqule" which means bubble gum. He loved doing yard work and talking to the neighbors. He was very friendly and always said hello to strangers. Not only did Victor love his family and pets, but he also Loved the Lord with all of his heart. At a young age, he became sober from alcohol and drugs and remained that way for almost 50 years, within those 50 years, those around him who knew his testimony were able to bear witness to Gods miracle at work. Neither his wife or 3 children ever saw nor knew the man he was before.
He owned his own business which he grew out of his garage in Bellflower, Ca. He remained in the fastener industry for over 40 years where he was successful as a salesman, as well as mentoring others and bringing them up in the industry. His work ethic was like no other, and in his later years, continued to break sales records, He was a selfless man who truly loved helping others with anything he could.
He passed away peacefully in his home on January 6th, 2021 accompanied by his step daughter whom he saw as his own, He will be forever missed and his family knows that he is rejoicing with his savior Jesus Christ.
