Viola Minna Sagstetter, age 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Viola was born to John and Wanda Metzger Johnson on Sunday, March 19, 1922 in Elk Mound, Wisconsin. Viola was married to the love of her life for more than 41 years, George "Bud" Sagstetter who passed away June 30, 1998. Viola celebrated Christmas every day. It was certainly her favorite time of year and she shared her passion for Christmas with everyone. She always had a smile or laugh for all she came in contact with. Her passion for living life and bringing happiness was infectious. Viola loved her cats and had Scooter by her side until the very end. Viola was also very strong in her faith which carried her through her journey here on Earth. Now she is celebrating Christmas everyday with Bud by her side.
Viola touched many lives and will be truly missed by all those who were honored to know her and who loved her.
