Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Sun City, California; she was born on May 29, 1928 in Kaylor, South Dakota to the late Gotthilf and Selma ((Konrad) Weisz.
Violet was a homemaker most her married life. She loved to sing hymns and work on puzzles. She was a mentor to many, loving and was known for her strong faith. She was a friend to many people. She also loved her family.
She is survived by her loving children and their families, Mark Fair, Bruce Fair, Jean Segaar, Linda Van Ginkel and Kristy Keller; her sister and best friend, Gladys Mathias; sixteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Fair in May of 2011.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 10:30am at Menifee Valley Cemetery. A Celebration of Violets Life will be on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 12pm at Faith Lutheran Church in Sun City.
