She was born on April 29, 1923 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Vivian was the daughter of Charlotte Walters and Harry J. Berkheimer and the sixth of nine children.
Vivian worked in Washington DC as a secretary to the Commandant of the Marine Corps during WWII. She learned the skill of medical transcription and that occupation served her well through the years until retirement.
Vivian was a very caring person and family oriented, always trying to keep her family together. She looked after her mother, brothers and sisters during illness, which showed her kind-hearted nature. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends she has left behind.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Glasgow. She is survived by her brother Harry R. Berkheimer; nephew, James Berkheimer; nieces, Patricia Bradley, Sandra Albert, Virginia Berkheimer, Karen Burks, and many great nieces and great nephews.
