Wendy Lynn Diaz

She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, wife, friend, and nurse. Everything she did came from the heart. From cooking and baking to being the best nurse you could have. She always got rave reviews for her homemade meals and ability to care for others. Listening to music and drinking tea was her thing. She also had a huge heart for animals.

She was a super woman who raised her triplets, Michaela Christina Diaz, Anthony Michael Diaz, and Maddie Jean Diaz, with ease and grace. She was the most incredible “Gamma” to her grandson, Leo Michael Ortiz. She had the kindest most unique soul. A soul you could never forget.

Her words and presence gave you peace. Her voice was soothing and she was the best listener, much like her mother, Barbara. At the end of the day, she loved her children and grandchild more than words can describe.

Preceding her in death is her father, Lester Edward Freda and mother, Barbara Jean Benton-Freda.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Michael Joseph Diaz, of 33 years, and her children, Michaela Christina Diaz, Anthony Michael Diaz, and Madeleina Jean Diaz. And grandson, Leo Michael Ortiz. Her sisters Vanessa Freda-Hernandez (David) and Laura Freda-Fisher (Brad). Nieces and nephews, Amanda Freda-Richardson, Christopher Hanss, Erica Hernandez-Reid (Cody) and 2 grandnieces and 1 grandnephew
