
He was a well-known General Contractor, building both residential and commercial properties. Doug was a pilot and enjoyed managing air strips from the Wilderness Mountains of Idaho to cow pastures in Mexico.
Racing was in his blood! For 55 years you could find him racing on dirt tracks, the Vegas 500, Baja, and Riverside raceway. Just last year at 76, he was the oldest driver at Perris Speedway!
Doug was a quiet man that could fill a room with his strength and kindness. He was a teacher and mentor to so many, always bringing out the best in everyone. An honorable man, who touched many lives with his goodness. He was proud of the Aldridge name and carried it well.
Survived by; his wife Sherry Lanier, sons Doug and Darin Aldridge, daughters Allison Aldridge, Jessamyn Pritchard and Kelly Enders-Tharp, sisters Bona and Linda and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces, all who will miss him dearly. Preceded in death by son Donny Aldridge and grandson Sawyer Rummelhart. Doug will live in our hearts forever.
