William Francis "Bill" Reed passed away peacefully at his home on June 7, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna, of Menifee; daughters, Robin Reed, of Long Beach, and Jennifer Cerone, of Canyon Lake; sons-in-law, Will Allen, of Long Beach, and Tony Cerone, of Canyon Lake; two granddaughters, Ava and Olivia Cerone; and three step-grandchildren, Willis, Spencer, and Chloé Allen.
Bill was born in 1930, in Clinton, Iowa. An Army Vet, who served in the Korean War; Bill went on to become an architect, developer and structural engineer. He was extremely passionate about his work.
He married Donna in 1960, and they had two daughters, Robin, in 1972, and Jennifer, in 1974.
His passions included woodworking and working with his hands, as well as music and sailing. His greatest joy was always spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Bill was known for his larger-than-life personality, love for children and animals, and his very quick wit.
Services will be held Saturday, June 22nd, 1:00 PM, at Miller-Jones Mortuary, Sun City.
