

William Carcido Camero, age 72, of Hemet, CA, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, CA. William was born on August 25, 1946, in Pilar, Bolinao, Pangasinan, Philippines. He was the son of the late Numeriano Camero and the late Cirila Carcido. A 22-year U.S. Navy veteran, William served our country proudly in the Vietnam era. He enjoyed preparing delicious meals for nearly 50 years to veterans and the students and faculty of the University of San Diego and the University of California, Riverside. His passions were his family and his dogs, writing, gardening, singing karaoke at all hours of the day and night, playing golf and watching movies. He was a true Lakers fan and a San Diego Chargers fan. He will be missed.
He is survived by his loving wife Lilia Camero, his children Joe Camero, Katharine Calandra, son-in-law Chris Calandra, grandchildren Roman Calandra and Ryland Calandra, his sisters Lolita Camero Cardona, Rebecca Camero Carranza, his brother Inocencio Camero, his cousin Maria Carranza Miller and all of his nephews and nieces who love him dearly.
