William Joseph Ferrone

William Joseph Ferrone, 73 of Hemet, California passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019, at home surrounded by family. He was born on Friday, January 4, 1946 in Los Angeles, California to the late William and Stella Ferrone. He was married to the love of his life, Grace Ferrone for 48 years. William was a proud member of the US Navy serving on the USS Oriskany-CV for 8 years leaving the service as a DK-2. He was a bookkeeper for over 40 years working for various businesses. Once retired he really enjoyed participating in the local shuffleboard tournaments. John Wayne was his favorite actor and loved to watch many of his movies on TV. He enjoyed playing card games, especially poker and sequence. He loved his family and enjoyed playing with his granddaughter and the family’s ornery cat Kramer. His family describes him as reserved who loved to eat a good meal. Surviving is his wife, Grace Ferrone; daughters, Dawn Rae Ferrone and Sara Fae Ferrone, sisters, Viola Apodaca, Maxine Grimm, Carolyn Shaw, grandchildren Jaden and Damon Angel. A graveside service will held on Monday, September 23rd at 10: 15 am at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside CA.
