Grew up in Ponce de Leon, Florida
In June 1943, at just 17 years of age, Bill enlisted in the United States Navy.
In February 1963, Bill retired as a Chief Aviation Ordnance man after 20 years of service.
He began his Civil Service career in September 1966 as an Aircraft Ordnance Worker at North Island in San Diego. Through promotions, he attained the position of Aircraft Examiner. He retired from North Island in 1982.
However, just before he began working his civil service career at North Island, he did a stint as a car salesman and was recognized into the Ford 500 Club for his outstanding sales in 1964.
In the 80s, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he worked as a crossing guard and retired as a custodian from the school district.
Survived by his wife, Aida. They have been married for 40 years Children - Wayne, Mike, Nancy, David, Angela, Barbara, Terry, JR (deceased), Sisi, and Gilbert. Many Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
