William J. L. Harrington, 80 of Hemet, California passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015, at Ramona Rehabilitation in Hemet, California. He was born Sunday, October 14, 1934, and was the son of the late John and Beatrice Harty Harrington. He was married to the love of his life, Paulina Meza Harrington for 50 years. William loved the outdoors. He and Paulina were known to visit our local mountains in Idyllwild, enjoyed camping and looking at nature. Another favorite place was Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, CA. He would always have his camera and was a very accomplished photographer. William liked to read and talk about European History, He also enjoyed the history of the Royal Crown. Volunteering was no stranger to William. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church for many years and helped with transportation for doctors' appointments and groceries for those members needing assistance. His family describes him as dependable, social, cultured and very proper. He felt he had a good sense of humor and often times the family agreed. Surviving is his wife, Paulina Meza and numerous god-children.
