Born in Fullerton CA, Ray Lowe lived in West Los Angeles, Lomita, Torrance, and Carson CA before relocating his family and business to Hemet CA. He is survived by Jeannie Lowe, his wife of 47 years, sons Robert Lowe (wife Beverly), Tom Lowe (wife Marcia), Mike Lowe, and Bill Lowe (wife Romy); grandchildren Cheryl Lowe, Christie Sandoval (husband Kevin), Justin Lowe (wife Audra), Raymond Lowe, Michael Lowe, Troy Kreuer, and Abby Lowe; great granddaughter Adalyn Sandoval; preceded in death by daughter Karen Rudesill (husband Jack) and his first wife Betty of 17 years.
Ray was a machinist by trade. He worked at TRW in El Segundo CA before having his own prototype machining business, JANLL Engineering Inc. While at TRW, Ray was project manager of the LEM Program, the engine that brought the astronauts back to earth on Apollo 13.
Ray was the Master of the Hemet Masonic Lodge in 1986 and also the Exalted Ruler of the Hemet Elks Lodge in 1996/1997. He enjoyed the charitable works and friendships through these organizations and was respected and loved by both. He was a Master Mason for over 50 years. He was a born again Christian for over 70 years. He enjoyed attending Inland Valley Baptist Fellowship.
He had loved boating, fishing, golfing, rocketing, fireworks, and playing poker. His greatest enjoyment was family gatherings.
