He was born July 4th, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Edene Martin. He served in the Armed Forces and retired from L and N Railroad. He was an avid golfer, member of Loveland Church and loved to share the word of the Lord.
William is survived by his wife of 28 years Mary Martin of Moreno Valley Ca.; Son and daughter in law Mr. and Mrs. William Martin Jr. of Nashville Tenn.; daughter Gladette Martin of Nashville Tenn.; Son and daughter in law Lee and Neffy Ford of Moreno Valley Ca.; son Marco Ford of Moreno Valley; ex daughter in law Tiffany Sanford of Moreno Valley; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
A viewing will be held Friday March 14, 2014 between 6-8pm at Miller Jones Funeral Home in Moreno Valley Ca. Services will be held Saturday March 15, 2014 at Loveland Church in Ontario Ca. at 2pm and burial will take place at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside Ca.
