

Bill was born on December 3rd 1926 in Los Angeles California. He was the 4th child born out of six. Three sisters born before him were Gwen, Lil and Bernice. Next came Bill, his brother James and his sister Patti. His parents left North Dakota in the early 1920’s and had the 1st three children in different States as they slowly made their way to Los Angeles California.
When the depression hit, the kids had to go to work at a very young age and they learned very good work ethics. Bill joined the Army at 18 and was a paratrooper. After the army Bill lived in Oklahoma City and studied and became an efficiency expert for the FFA and did time studies for the airlines. He later moved to Washington DC until he retired at 53 in 1979. During this time Bill met the love of his life, Faye. He and Faye eventually moved to Canyon Lake a couple houses down from his brother.
Bill loved sports and was very competitive. He was a amazing tennis player, bowler and golfer. He joined a bowling team and the Canyon Lake tennis group and sang in the Canyon Lake choir for years. Bill played golf and bowled until the last year of his life. He always stayed very active. Bill was a jack of all trades who loved woodworking, and locksmithing. He also played the piano, Electric Slide Guitar and sang in the Canyon Lake Choir.
Bill also loved to get together and play games with friends and family. He always loved going out to eat and then playing games.
Bill was very much loved by all and we are all were very lucky to have had him in our life. Bill will be deeply missed and will always be in all our hearts forever.
