William served in both the Navy and the Army, serving in both WWII and Korea.
His daughters remember him as someone who loved to help people. He also loved to go fishing of the Long Beach and Redondo Beach piers.
Surviving are daughters, Karen Gonzalez, Tracy Smith and Linda Hollaway.
