He was born on Tuesday, May 2, 1944 in Monrovia, California , he was the son of the late Alfred Wurtz and the late Audrey Berry Wurtz.
He served in the Navy from 1975 until 1990.
He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Michael Wurtz of Moreno Valley, CA, daughter, Rebecca Wurtz, brother, Stephen Wurtz.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday September 12, 2019 at Lighthouse Baptist Church located at 12140 Indian St. Moreno Valley, California 92557. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at Miller-Jones Moreno Valley, 23618 Sunnymead Bl., Moreno Valley, California .
