Wilma Fay Clauss

Wilma Fay Clauss, age 86, of Hemet, CA passed away on October 31,2021 at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, CA. Wilma was born on May 18, 1935 in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She was a bookkeeper for 39 years and she was a parishoner at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph Deckard and Laverne Hawkins-Deckard of St. Francisville, Illinois. She was preceded in deth by her sister Leona Bell and brother Keith Deckard.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years: Raymond Clauss, her children Brenda Thomason (and husband Greg) of Temecula, CA, Karen Swain (and her husband Charlie) of Mt. Carmel, IL., Tamela Neaveill (deceased); her siblings: Thelma Davidson, of Hemet, CA., Dennis Deckard (and wife Bobby) of Jacksonville, FL., Michael Deckard (and wife Cathy) of El Paso, CA., 7 grandchildren; Sarah Heritage (and husband Daniel) of San Jacinto, CA., Rachel Trusty (and husband Michael) of San Jacinto, CA., Elizabeth Salinas (and husband Mike) from Hemet, CA., T.J. Hunt (and wife Marissa) from Belmont, IL., Zach Hunt (and wife Jill) from Mt. Carmel, IL., Mary Neaveill of Hemet, CA., and Angela Gomez (and husband Pablo) of Hemet, CA., and 21 great grandchildren.

Wilma enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo, card bingo, crossword puzzles and spending time with family. She was loved deeply by all and will be missed by everyone, but we know she's in heaven now and she has no more pain.
