Born to Annette and Alexander Hernandez, she was the youngest of three. Yvette cherished the close relationships she shared as a child with her older siblings, Andree and Suzette.
Yvette fiercely loved her four children, Michael, Mitchell, Michell, and Million, and her four grandchildren, Lailah, Levi, Legend, and Rey. She was a passionate and protective mother. Yvette’s life partner, Steven Tutor, stayed in her life through the best and most challenging times. Steven still loves Yvette unconditionally.
Yvette was a very loving woman, and adopted several dogs which she treated as her own babies. Another great love in Yvette’s life was rollerskating, a hobby she shared with her family. Her children cherish the memories spent at the roller skating rink with their mother.
Yvette was an intelligent, strong, and beautiful woman. As a child of the 60s, she was rebellious and independent, always played by her own rules, and lived unapologetically. Yvette’s spirit will continue to live on through Steven, her four children, and four grandchildren.
