Zenobia Hooper was born April 9, 1939 to Callie and Henry Sanders in Pueblo, Colorado. She was the fifth of six children...Louis, Helen, Henry Jr., Calvin, Zenobia and Marvin. After the family moved to California,
Zenobia graduated high school and in July of 1957 married a handsome soldier named Wendell Hooper. From this union came 4 beautiful children that she cherished, Wendy, Joy (deceased), Michaela and Wendell Jr.
Zenobia enjoyed cooking, going on long drives, rodeos, and her family. She was always big on helping.....individuals and community. Within her community Zenobia's career path ranged from White lighting Co.' LA County Home Serving, 42nd Street school, Allianz Insurance Co.' Children's World, Riverside office of Education, Riverside office of Aging and Riverside Community Hospital.
Zenobia taught each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren their colors, shapes and numbers and her love of reading, to be curious about the world, planet, people and spirituality. The importance of sharing and loving one another, that was the teacher in her.....the Mother we all knew and loved. She also loved Jehovah and taught all of her children and grandchildren that love, respect and devotion to Jehovah.
In parting this world she leaves her legacy in her children; Wendy, Jerome (spouse of Wendy), Michaela and Wendell Jr. Her grandchildren; Raymond, Rosetta (spouse of Raymond), Mykella, Jason (spouse of Mykella), Brittany, Damien, Anthony, Eric and Kevon. Her great-grandchildren; Kendell, Kendrick, Devon Tamia, Justin, Kayla and Donovan. Her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews....will miss her smile, her voice, her beautiful eyes and her laugh.
We all take great pride in having her as our Mother and will continue to make her proud of us, love one another, teach the younger grandchildren the way we were taught.
The family thanks every kind word spoken, every card sent, and all the lovely gestures during this time. Your kindness has been our comfort, your efforts gratefully received.
