Alexander Hubert

Alexander Hubert entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2015 at the age of 86 years old. Loving father of Michelle (Steve), Ira (Eddie), Neil (Kiyomi) and Fred (Monique) and adored grandfather of Erica, Adam, Kent, Len and Nathan.

Mr. Hubert a multi-lingual Holocaust survivor was a well traveled man not for the love of travel, but out of sheer necessity to survive and he proudly served in the Israeli Army. He and his wife settled down in Brooklyn, New York and lovingly raised their four children. Mr. Hubert was a hard working family man who welcomed each day with a bright smile and a great attitude. He will be forever missed and in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Mr. Hubert is predeceased by his loving wife, Irene who passed away in 1999.

A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 10:30am at Jewish Memorial Chapel of Long Island, 46 Greenwich Street, Hempstead, New York and interment will follow at New Montefiore Cemetery, Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York.
