Adelina G. Guardian

Adelina G. Guardian, 102 of Las Vegas, NV passed away June 01, 2013. She was born on December 29, 1910 in Piedras Negras, Mexico. A long time resident of Winslow, AZ from 1940-1993 where she lived with her husband and raised her family. The last 10 years of her life were spent with her daughter Beatrice and Jesse Medellin, where she was surrounded by multiple family members. She is survived by her son Frank Guardian (Vicki); daughters Adelina Saiz; Irma "Sally Gallegos"; Beatrice Medellin (Jesse); 20 Grandchildren; 37 Great-Grandchildren; and 12 Great-Great Grandchildren of the 5th generation, as well as many other family members.

Preceded in death by her husband Atanacio Guardian; her parents Timoteo and Guadalupe Salas-Garcia. Her siblings Ubaldo, Amelia, Idilia, Alicia, Evangelina, Eliseo and Raul Garcia. Her son Raul G. Martinez; Grandsons Robert Martinez; Richard Borunda; Son-in-Law Fred Gallegos.

A loving, generous soul who volunteered and devoted 10 years of her senior life as a Senior Companion in Winslow, AZ. A compassionate, tender and amiable Spirit always helping others. She left a legacy that will far out live her life. Those who were blessed to know her were inspired. She shared her wisdom, advice, deep Faith and taught her Grandchildren songs such as Jesus Loves Me, Jesus Walking on the Water and others.

Beautiful, amazing and devoted to our Lord in life up to her death. With both hands held by loved ones and her daughter's warm hand upon her heart; we ended the Rosary, she drew her last breath and peacefully drifted off into Heaven. A beautiful and amazing departure for a beautiful person. She will always remain our "Guardian" Angel for life.

The visitation is at Palm on 800 So Boulder Hwy, Hend., NV : Wednesday June 12,2013 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The Rosary will follow from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Funeral service will be at St Peter 204 So Boulder Hwy., Hend., NV: Thursday June 13, 2013 at 11:00 am.
