Albert G. Salamy, 86, of Henderson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away, Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Albert is survived by his loving wife, Miriam Salamy. He was born on October 27, 1930 in Jerusalem, Palestine. He was the son of the late George A Khoury-Salamy and Jaleleh Mashni of Ramallah, Palestine. Albert immigrated from the Middle East to Detroit, Michigan, and then to Henderson, Nevada. In between Detroit and Henderson, he was inducted in the Army. In the Las Vegas valley, Albert progressed through various positions in the gaming industry. Albert was a member of St Michael’s Antiochian Orthodox Church. He is Survived by: Sons, George A. and his wife Nancy; Jerry P. and his wife Leann; daughter, Annette M. wife of Leland Lipparelli; grandchildren, Antonio and Andrea Lipparelli; Matthew and Nicholas Salamy; great grandchild, Juliann’ Lipparelli-James; brother, Zak Khoury; and sister, Salwa Mizrawi.
