Alfred William Rudy, Jr., died at the age of 62 on July 1, 2015, in Valley Hospital, Las Vegas, Nevada. Alfred was born May 20, 1953, in Lakewood, California to Adrienne (Guertin) and Alfred William Rudy, Sr. Alfred graduated from Borrego Springs High School, Borrego Springs, California, in 1971. He attended Southern Nevada Vocational Technical Center in Las Vegas and received a certificate in mechanical and architectural drafting. He completed a program in drafting/design at Utah Technical College in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was employed as a draftsman at Xertex, United Controls Division in Santa Fe Springs, California, until he became disabled. Alfred is survived by cousins, Marion G. Williams of Paradise, California, and Nancy G. Smith of Charlotte, North Carolina. His father, Alfred William Rudy, Sr., died in 1958. He is also predeceased by his mother, Adrienne G. Engelhardt, and his step-father, William Engelhardt. His final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Long Beach.
