

Alma Pimentel Lewis-Adkins, a compassionate and devoted individual, passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on August 9, 1966, in San Fernando, La Union, Philippines, Alma was the eldest of three brothers and two sisters. She graduated from La Union National High School in San Fernando, La Union, in 1982. Following her graduation, she immigrated to the United States and completed her education at the Oregon Institute of Technology.
Alma's life was marked by her faithful and hard-working nature. On March 3, 1995, she married in a civil ceremony in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She was a loving wife and mother, cherished by her family. Alma is survived by her husband of 30 years, John Adkins; her son, Jonah Adkins; and her daughter, Jena Adkins. She is also survived by her brothers: Alberto Espero Jr., Abner Espero, and Richard Espero; and her sisters: Christa Lewis and Angela Lewis.
A selfless and kind-hearted person, Alma loved to travel, explore cars, and spend time in her garden. Her thoughtful and honest nature left a lasting legacy on those who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Palm Henderson Mortuary, located at 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015, on December 2, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same location on December 3, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a graveside committal in Palm Henderson Cemetery.
Alma's cherished memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
