Alvin Leroy Clem, age 68, of Pahrump, Nevada passed away on Thursday June 13, 2019. Alvin was born at home on November 14, 1950 in Eloy, Arizona to Shirley M. Stafford and Vanis P. Clem. The family relocated to Springdale, Arkansas at an early age where he would grow up and graduate from High School. Al enlisted in the U.S. Army, and went on to serve honorably for two tours in Vietnam.
Following his service, Al transitioned to the civilian sector and worked with oil rigs, and driving cement trucks. While living in Nevada, Al met his wife, Linda; and the two would blend their lives together on September 20, 1986 at the Candlelight Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shortly after their union, Al switched from truck driving to tile and marbling until 2007 when he was medically retired.
Al was a hardworking, and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Devoted to his family, Al enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking and BBQ; gambling in his favorite casinos, and watching sports on television. He supported his favorite San Francisco 49ers; Boston, Celtics; and the New York, Yankees. Although he struggled with his medical challenges; Al was a genuine soul and a good man; and will be greatly missed.
